Earned six letters for coach Mark Giles … finished first in the Class AAAA Boys State Championship in 2007 and 2008 … helped team to state title in 2008 after finishing second in 2007 … won the 2007 South Carolina State Junior Championship, breaking the tournament scoring record by seven shots … entered match play at the 2008 U.S. Amateur Championship as the second seed … advanced to the round of 16 at the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 2008 … set the course record at The Standard Club in Duluth, Ga., with a 63 in the first round of the U.S. Amateur Qualifier in 2008.
