Team Notes
• The South Carolina-Kentucky game was South Carolina’s last home game of the season. It was also Head Coach Dave Odom’s final home game as head coach of the Gamecocks. Odom is retiring at the end of the season.
• The Gamecocks have forced 27 of their 29 opponents to 10 or more turnovers this season. Southern California and Florida are the only two opponents to have less than 10 in a game.
Individual Notes
• Dwayne Day, the only senior, was honored before the South Carolina-Kentucky game on Wednesday night.
• Dominique Archie started his 59th consecutive game for the Gamecocks. Archie and Devan Downey are the only two Gamecocks to start in every game this season.
• Mike Holmes recorded his 3rd double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 boards. (at Florida, vs. MSU) The 16 points scored marked his 10th game in double figures this season and he has at least 10 in 5 of the last 6 games. It was his 5th game with 10+ rebounds. He has 10 or more in 3 of his last 4 games.
• Zam Fredrick scored in double figures for the 23rd time this season. He led all Gamecocks with 19 points scored against the Wildcats.
• Sam Muldrow grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the most since having 6 against Florida on Jan. 23, 2008.
• Devan Downey finished the game with 9 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal before fouling out with 54 seconds remaining in the game. It was the first time in his career that he fouled out and the third time this season that he was held under 10 points in a game.
Colonial Center
• Kentucky’s Joe Crawford scored a Colonial Center record 35 points. It was previously held by Vanderbilt’s Shan Foster who scored 33 on Feb. 28, 2007 in a 99-90 overtime win for the Commodores.
— Kentucky is now 17-11 on the season and 11-4 in the Southeastern Conference.
— Kentucky leads the series 41-7 and has won 12 of the last 14 against the Gamecocks. The Wildcats are 15-4 against South Carolina in Columbia.
— Kentucky is 504-167 against schools comprising the SEC’s East Division. The Wildcats’ regular season record against SEC East teams since the conference split into divisions in 1992 is 143-42.
— Kentucky closes out its regular season on Sunday at home against the Florida Gators in a noon game televised on CBS.

— The Wildcats used the starting combination of Ramel Bradley, Joe Crawford, Derrick Jasper, Ramon Harris and Mark Coury for the second straight game.
— UK extended its string of 672 consecutive games making a three-pointer.
— Kentucky shot .632 from the field in the first half, their highest first half percentage since shooting .684 at Auburn (2/6).
— UK’s 12 first half turnovers was the most since turning the ball over 12 times at Vanderbilt (2/12).
— The Wildcats shot .564, its highest percentage since shooting .667 at Auburn (2/6).
— In its last two games, the UK defense has held two of the league’s most prolific scorers (Chris Lofton and Devan Downey) to just 23 points, an average of 11.5 ppg. The Wildcats held Downey to nine points, 10.3 points below his average.
