“It was a good evening to play a lot of people. We certainly played much better tonight than we did in Charlotte. We got our heads handed to us on a platter up there, literally. Our defense was much better tonight. I told our team to play through their mistakes and for the most part, they did. We had good leadership on the floor, with Mike Boynton and others. The team we played tonight has had some good performances. They played Missouri very close and Missouri is a top 10- ranked team. They did not shoot the ball very well. We were in good defensive position most of the time, but when we weren’t we committed some silly fouls. We don’t have the inside attack that we need. I thought our team played hard. We look forward for the season to begin. I think we have some possibilities with this team. We are small, but we play with a lot of quickness.”

Linas Salkus, Lithuania:

“Today we missed a lot of shots and it was a bad result. We are at the same level as South Carolina, Missouri and the other universities we play. We just did not execute and did not play well.
