NCEA Honors Quentin, Jazz and Reggie as Top-10 Horses
WACO, Texas – A Trio of South Carolina equestrian horses earned distinction as Quentin, Jazz and Reggie were named NCEA Top-10 Horses, NCEA officials announced Thursday.
Quentin, a jumping seat horse, earned the honor for his over fences work, appearing in three meets this season. Jazz, a horsemanship mount, was ridden in competition twice this season and handled the honors for the senior day exhibition ride. Reggie, a multi-time horsemanship top-10 honoree, added to his laundry list of honors with another appearance on the list.
The Gamecocks concluded the season with three All-American riders, Sloane Vogt on the First Team for reining, Madeline Schaefer on the second team for over fences, and Caroline Bald on the second team for her flat work.
