Pro Timing Day Set for Thursday, March 21
13 Players to Work Out for NFL Scouts
The University of South Carolina football program will hold its annual Pro Timing Day at the Jerri and Steve Spurrier indoor practice facility on Thursday, March 21. Thirteen draft-eligible former Gamecock players are slated to work out for NFL coaches and scouts.
Those former Gamecock players expected to participate include: Bryson Allen-Williams, Ben Asbury, Zack Bailey, Blake Camper, K.C. Crosby, Dennis Daley, Rashad Fenton, Steven Montac, Keisean Nixon, D.J. Park, Deebo Samuel, Michael Scarnecchia and Malik Young. Allen-Williams, Bailey, Daley, Fenton and Samuel all were invited to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis earlier this year.
All of the testing and field work this year will be done in the indoor facility, beginning at 8 am, and is closed to the public. Media members are invited to attend, but must request a credential by noon on Wednesday, March 20, to gain access. Media will be allowed into the facility beginning at 8:30 am through the main lobby on the south end of the facility. Contact Assistant Athletics Director Steve Fink for more information.
