Men's Tennis Announces Fall Tournament Schedule

The 2018 fall schedule will see South Carolina men's tennis student-athletes compete as individuals and doubles pairs in eight different tournaments across the country.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina men’s tennis head coach Josh Goffi announced his team’s Fall 2018 schedule, which is set to begin with the Gamecock Fall Invitational this Friday through Sunday.
 
Carolina will host the ITA-sanctioned Gamecock Fall Invitational this weekend, which will field three singles draws and three doubles draws over the three days of competition.
 
The fall schedule will continue with select student-athletes competing in the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., on Oct. 2-9 while others will travel to Belton, S.C., for the South Carolina Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 5-7.  The All-American Championships will begin with qualifying rounds on Oct. 1-2 followed by the main draw which will be held on Oct. 4-8.
 
The full team will travel to Durham, N.C., on Oct. 12-16 for the ITA Carolina Regionals before splitting once again to compete in the Charlotte 49ers Fall Invitational and Georgia Tech Invitational, which are both scheduled for Nov. 2-4.
 
Select individuals will also compete for ATP points in a pair of ITF-sanctioned tournaments during the fall season beginning with the Charlottesville Challenger on Oct. 27-29 in Charlottesville, Va.  The fall tournament schedule will conclude with the Knoxville Challenger on Nov. 2-4.
