Cross Country Trip To Rock Hill Cancelled
ROCK HILL, SC—The 35th Annual Winthrop Invitational for men’s and women’s cross country has been postponed due to the forecast of high winds and heavy rain from Hurricane Florence.
The meet will be rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 5 but with the Gamecocks scheduled to run in the Charleston Classic Oct. 6, South Carolina will not take part in the rescheduled run in Rock Hill.
South Carolina returns to action Sept. 28 for the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitation.
