COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s golf held its first practice Monday afternoon in preparation for the 2017-18 season.

The Gamecocks, who return five letterwinners from last year’s squad that qualified for the 2017 NCAA Championship, put in work on the driving range and putting green before playing 18 holes at Cobblestone Park Golf Club.

Carolina opens its fall season next month at the 2017 Mason Rudolph Championship. The 54-hole event in Nashville, Tenn., takes place Sept. 15-17.
