South Carolina women’s soccer welcomed five U-11 girls teams – Carolina FC, SCUMP, SC United, CESA Black 1 and CESA Black 2 – for the program’s Gamecock Round Robin on February 28th.
Each team played two games in either Stone Stadium or at the USC soccer practice fields. The Gamecock student-athletes met the teams and cheered them on during the day’s contests. In addition to the games, the teams watched the highlight video from the 2014 season that featured South Carolina’s run to the NCAA Elite 8, took in a player panel with current Gamecock women’s soccer players and watched South Carolina take on Georgia Southern University in a spring game.
