COLUMBIA, S.C.- The 21st ranked South Carolina volleyball team (14-3, 7-3 SEC) will be home for the final SEC home weekend of 2001 when they take on Auburn Friday night at 7 p.m., and Alabama Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Friday night will be senior night at Carolina, as the Gamecocks will honor their three senior players, Nia Mackie, Milica Perovic and Liz Price in pre-match ceremonies.

The Gamecocks are back playing into their early September form when they won nine of their first ten matches. Junior outside hitter Nadia Sefferovich posted 27 kills combined in the last two matches, and fellow junior Cally Plummer has knocked down double digit kills in 15 of the 17 matches.

Sunday’s match will be Military Appreciation Day and the annual Halloween Costume contest. In addition, coach Kim Christopher, her staff and players will conduct a post match volleyball clinic for adults.
