Columbia, S. C. – After 120 minutes of action, with the UCLA Invitational tournament title on the line, both teams were unable to score and would end the match deadlocked at 0-0. South Carolina’s record stands at 9-3-2.

UCLA was crowned the tournament champion by goal differential. UCLA defeated St. Mary’s 5-1 in an earlier match, while USC defeated Cal State Fullerton 2-0.

David Moore led the Gamecocks, firing five shots on goal. USC managed to get 17 shots off, while UCLA posted 25 shots on goal. Gregorio Adolfo and Ryan Futagaki led the Bruins, each posting four shots.

Gamecock goalkeeper Michael Bachmeyer recorded 15 saves, en route to his fifth shutout of the season.

Defender Tim Glowienka, midfielder David Moore and forward Ryan Daley were named to the all-tournament team.

USC resumes action Sunday, Nov. 4 when they host Drury at 2:00 p.m.
