“They (Florida) were a outstanding team. We just came up short. We have some good players and we hope to be the best team we can be in May. I commend Florida, they are great. This one hurts.”

Player Jenny Miller:

“We had a similar match during the regular season that came down to the last match. We wore our hearts on our sleeve and gave it our best, but we came up short. Florida is a great team and they fought hard.”

“We let a lot of opportunities slip away in doubles and it’s happened so many times. We need to do a better job taking advantage of those opportunities. Its hotter than hell out there, and its easy to pack it in mentally. It takes a lot out of you to win. We’ve dropped the doubles point to Vanderbilt twice this season, and come back to win, and I think that shows the character of this team. ”
(on possibly playing Georgia) “We didn’t like losing to them at home. We’re excited, we are just going to come up here tomorrow swinging and see what happens.

“She (Sarah Riske) came out swinging and playing real well, and I wasn’t. I knew I just had to be patient and wait for the opportunities to come. I needed to focus on getting my first serve in and go from there. It’s a good feeling (to win) but hopefully tomorrow will be a better feeling.”
