COLUMBIA, S.C. –
The University of South Carolina men’s and women’s golf teams will host their annual wine tasting and silent auction fund-raiser Friday, Aug. 23, from 7-9 p.m. at Seawell’s on Rosewood Drive in Columbia.

Tickets for the event, which has become widely popular and is the “Event of the Year” for Carolina golf, are $30 for individuals and $50 for couples in advance of the event. Tickets are $35 at the door for individuals.

South Carolina head football coach Lou Holtz and Voice of the Gamecocks Charlie McAlexander will serve as guest hosts for this year’s event. Contact the South Carolina athletic ticket office on Rosewood Drive for tickets at 803-777-4274 or toll-free at 1-800-4SC-FANS.

A bevy of items are available at this year’s auction, including a Vermont ski or golf vacation package, signed memorabilia from Tiger Woods and other star PGA and LPGA Tour stars, signed prints, and various USC items signed by Gamecock coaches.
