Columbia, S.C. – After one-and-a-half rounds of action at The Ridges Intercollegiate in Jonesborough, Tenn., play was suspended due to darkness. Six teams were unable to complete the second round before nightfall. The 18-team field will finish the second round, before starting the third round on Sunday, Sept. 14.

South Carolina was able to complete both rounds of play and are currently in eighth. Two Gamecocks posted under-par scores. Martin Rominger currently leads the Gamecocks with a two-round score of 141. Eirik Johansen shot 143, while Jason Huguet posted 150. Teammates Alex Hamilton and Nash Elliott carded 153. Jake Thompson, playing as an individual, shot two-over-par 74 in the first round and was unable to complete the second round before play was suspended.
