Arkansas Head Coach Chris Poole
“I’m pleased with the way we started the first game. LSU executed coming back in game two and put pressure on us. I’m glad we got out in three with a win. We have to play much better tomorrow. They (Alabama) are going to be coming out firing. We are a team that doesn’t dominate like Florida does, we didn’t play great but still got the win. LSU came out (in the 2nd game) not giving up and came out and played us. Games two and three could of gone either way had we not made some plays.”

Sara Kincaid, Arkansas, Sr., Middle Blocker
“We played sluggish at times. We did what we practices all week and did what we had to do to win.”

(On playing Alabama next):
“We know we have to step it up to the next level. Alabama will play as hard as they can and we have to play like we can play.”

LSU Head Coach Fran Flory
“This match was a reflection of our season. We got some easy chances but we did not execute. We started tense rather than intense. Credit Arkansas for answering the call. We have no seniors. Every step we can say either we want to do that again, or we want to avoid doing that another time.”

Lauren Leaumont, LSU, Fr., Outside Hitter
“We are a young team, this experience will put us on the road to doing what we need to do.”
