Read day two of Cocky’s adventures in LA for the Capital One All-America Mascot Team. It was a free day for the team and Cocky got a small taste of celebrity life … LA style.

Whew! What a day!! I just got back from running all around Los Angeles! Capital One let all 12 of us loose for a day. I was really excited about it, and I must have been a little too excited. We started out at the Santa Monica pier, and I started running. Before I knew it, I tripped, fell, and rolled all the way down this concrete hill. Of course, Testudo and Scratch thought it would be funny to catch up and continue pushing me down the hill. I don’t recommend starting a day off like that, but have no worries, Cocky got up, dusted off, and commenced in doing what he does best … entertain the people!

Capital One then took us to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I was shocked to find out that I don’t have a star there! Can you believe that?!

We also went to Muscle Beach and the original Gold’s Gym. I showed everyone just how beefy I really am. Now that I think about it, I’m not really beefy, so I guess I showed them just how poultrified I am! I guess word got out that we were in town because the paparazzi and media began to show up at some of the places we were visiting.

At the end of the day we went to a lookout mountain where we shot more publicity photos. The demands of being a celebrity.

I’m going to go hang out with the team for a little while and then nestle down in my roost. Goodnight and GO GAMECOCKS!!!
