COLUMBIA, S.C. –
The Columbia Regional Sports Council and The Colonial Center have agreed to postpone Friday’s gamecock rally due to the threat of dangerous weather, the side effects of Hurricane Ivan. The recheduled rally date will be determined later in the football season or in the early part of the basketball season. The remaining gamecock rally schedule is as follows:

Sept. 24, 2004 USC vs. Troy (Parent’s Weekend with entertainment by ‘Too Much Silvia’)
Oct. 29, 2004 USC vs. Tennessee (Entertainment by Fantastic Shakers)
Nov. 5, 2004 USC vs. Arkansas (Entertainment by The Swinging Medallions)

The gamecock rally events are hosted by The Columbia Regional Sports Council with event partners including Global Spectrum/The Colonial Center, B106-FM and WIS-TV.
