The best junior tennis players in the state of South Carolina will compete in the Palmetto State’s premier junior event starting Saturday. The Wachovia Junior Hard Court Championships will be held on the University of South Carolina campus from Saturday, June 25th and will continue through Thursday, June 30th.
Play will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 25th at four locations: the Columbia Tennis Center on Pickens Street; the Sam Daniel Tennis Center (USC Men’s Courts) on Heyward Street; the Maxcy Grgg Tennis Center (USC women’s courts) on Blossom Street; and the USC indoor facility on Whaley Street.
Admission is free to all four venues. Players will compete in five different divisions —– 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s, and 18s —– in both singles and doubles.
