• South Carolina now owns a 9-3 record on the season after tonight’s 77-46 victory at Clemson. The Gamecocks open non-conference play on Wednesday, Jan. 4, against No. 1 Tennessee in Columbia. USC has one non-conference game remaining against Longwood on Feb. 21 at home.

• The Gamecocks have won seven straight games, the longest streak since winning eight straight during the non-conference portion of the 2003-04 schedule.

• USC snapped Clemson’s two-game win streak in the series and won its second game in the last four meetings.

• South Carolina hit 16-of-17 (.941) from the free throw line, the fourth-best percentage in school history. The showing from the charity stripe was the best since hitting 16-of-17 on March 2, 2000, against Vanderbilt.

• The Gamecocks held Clemson without a three-point basket for the first time this season.

• USC shot .537 from the field, the second-best effort of the season.

• Iva Sliskovic scored in double-figures for the 28th time in her career. She finished with 15 points against the Tigers. USC is 16-12 when she scores 10 or more points.

• Sliskovic produced a double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds) for the second time this season and the seventh time in her career.

• The Gamecock defense held Clemson to just .300 shooting (18-of-60) from the field. It marked the fifth straight game South Carolina has limited its opponent to 30 percent shooting or less.

• Lakesha Tolliver scored a career-high 11 points. Her previous best was nine points against Jacksonville on Nov. 27, 2004.

• Head coach Susan Walvius used the starting lineup of Lauren Simms, Iva Sliskovic, Ilona Burgrova, Shannel Harris and Lea Fabbri for the sixth time this season.

• Demetress Adams returned to the lineup after sustaining an injury to her hand in the Gamecocks’ win over Western Carolina on Dec. 29. Adams played seven minutes, scored four points and grabbed a pair of rebounds.

• South Carolina’s bench out-scored Clemson’s reserves, 53-7.

• Larissa Kulcsar scored a season-high 14 points for the Gamecocks, including a 6-of-6 effort from the free throw line.
