COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina women’s soccer team has announced its signing class of 2006 for the February signing period. The list includes players from the states of South Carolina, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, New York, Ohio, Texas and West Virginia.

“We are very excited to add this fine group of players and people to our program,” said USC associate head coach Jamie Smith. “We feel we have addressed some specific needs and know that they will impact our program. Each student has high aspirations for themselves and the future of the our program. We look forward to their arrival on campus this fall.”

– High School team won District Championship her senior year and were District Finalists her junior year

Samantha Diaz-Matosas
– Earned All-County honors in 2004 and 2005 by Gwinnette Daily and Atlanta Journal Constitution
