ATHENS, Ga. – Day one preliminary rounds of the Women’s NCAA Championships have been completed and South Carolina diver Allison Brennan is currently in third place on the 1-meter board. Brennan, the reigning SEC Champion on the 1-meter, recorded a score of 302.90 to claim her spot in the finals scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday night.

Brennan earned USC’s first individual national championship title back in 2003-04 when she scored 307.20 on the same board. She is currently 2.65 points behind second place Carrie McCambridge (305.55) and 22.45 points behind Blythe Hartley, who is in first.
