Sept. 20, 2006

The University of South Carolina Equestrian Team will join Gamecock fans, Saturday, Sept. 23, at the “Ultimate Tailgating Experience” in Gamecock Village, before the football team faces off against Florida Atlantic University.

The team and their horses will be on hand from 4-6 p.m. Tailgaters will be able to meet the riders and take photos. Posters and flyers will be given away and team members will be available for autographs.

The Toyota Gamecock Village, dubbed the “Ultimate Tailgating Experience,” features games and activities for Carolina fans, food and live entertainment. Tailgaters will also have the chance to get autographs from former USC athletes and take pictures with Cocky and the USC cheerleaders.

Before the game against FAU, fans can enjoy food and drinks from Sticky Fingers, WG’s Wings and Groucho’s Deli, while listening to music performed by the Logan Elementary Steel Band.

Gamecock village opens three hours before kick-off and is in the grandstands at the State Fair Grounds.
