University of South Carolina men’s and women’s basketball season tickets are on sale now, the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office announced today. Ticket prices remain the same as a year ago, with men’s season tickets ranging from $306 (lower level) to $200 (upper level). A season ticket to see the women is priced at only $40.

A limited number of lower level seats still remain for men’s games. Gamecock Club members at Full Scholarship and above are eligible to purchase seats for the men in the lower level of the Colonial Center. Seating locations will be determined by the Gamecock Club priority system.

In a season-long celebration, the men’s program will be commemorating 100 Years of Gamecock Basketball. At most games this season, former ‘Gamecock Greats’ will be recognized with the culmination being the Basketball Alumni Reunion Weekend, February 22-23. Former men’s basketball lettermen are encouraged to contact Holly Moring (hollymoring@sc.edu) in the Marketing Department for more information.

Coach Dave Odom and the men’s team tip-off the home season with an exhibition game on Monday, Nov.5 at 7:30 pm against Guilford College while Susan Walvius and the women face Lake Truck in an exhibition game on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7:00 pm. Both games are free to the public.

The regular season gets underway for both teams on Friday, Nov. 9, when the women host Saint Francis (PA) at 5:30 p.m. and the men follow against in-state rival South Carolina State at 8 p.m. in a rare doubleheader.

Tickets may be purchased on-line at gamecocksonline.com or by calling 800.4SC.FANS.
