CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Two University of South Carolina men’s tennis players traveled this weekend to the ITA Indoor Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Virginia. Sophomore Pedro Campos and classmate Ivan Cressoni represented South Carolina at the event.

Campos drew a bye in Thursday’s opening round. He will face Alberto Rojas of Elon on Friday at 9 a.m. in the round of 32. Cressoni defeated Brad Mixson of Florida State, 6-2, 6-4, in the opening round and will face Clint Bowles of Florida State on Friday at 11 a.m. in the round of 32.

The duo also competed in doubles play, falling 8-5 to Kyle Baker and Wil Plyler of North Carolina. They are eliminated from doubles action with the loss.
