COLUMBIA, S.C. — Lakesha Tolliver from the South Carolina women’s basketball team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Tolliver broke the school record with seven blocked shots against UNC Wilmington on Saturday. She needs just two more to tie Michelle Murray’s school record of 148 career blocks.

Tolliver also led the team with 18 points against the Seahawks on 7-of-9 shooting.

She is currently third on the team in scoring at 12.3 points per game and is shooting 50.8 percent from the field.
