The 2008 South Carolina Gamecock football team will head to the practice fields for the first time this season on Friday, August 1. The Gamecocks, under fourth-year head coach Steve Spurrier, will begin their drills at 7:30 p.m. at the Bluff Road “Proving Grounds.” The practice is open to the public. No cameras (video or still) will be allowed after the first 15 minutes of practice (ie. 7:45 p.m.).
