The University of South Carolina football team worked out for about an hour on Wednesday night at the Bluff Road practice fields before lightning in the area ended the session prematurely.
The Gamecocks are expected to scrimmage in Williams-Brice Stadium on Thursday afternoon with the practice beginning tentatively at 3 p.m. That practice will be open to the public.
