The University of South Carolina football worked out for about two hours again Friday afternoon, spending the first 100 minutes at the Bluff Road practice fields before moving to Williams-Brice Stadium for the final 20 minutes to scrimmage.

“We let the guys scrimmage a little bit – some of the younger guys in the stadium,” said head coach Steve Spurrier following the session. “Stephen Garcia got a few throws in – got a pass rush against him, so hopefully it will help him come bowl game.”

Coach Spurrier confirmed that Kyle Nunn did not pass enough hours this fall and will not make the bowl trip. Nunn, a reserve offensive lineman, is the second Gamecock to fall short academically this fall, joining starting safety Emanuel Cook.

The Gamecocks will return to the practice fields on Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
