KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –

Local rains in East Tennessee has forced the cancellation of Saturday’s game between South Carolina and Tennessee. There will be no rescheduling of the lost Southeastern Conference game. The squads will now square off in a doubleheader on Sunday, with first pitch set for 12 p.m. EDT.

The Gamecocks, 12-7 on the season, have now lost five games on the year, more than lost during the entire 2008 season.
