COLUMBIA, S.C. –
The fifth-snowiest day on record in Columbia caused more alterations to the Palmetto State Showdown schedule, as Saturday’s action has been wiped away. All five games on the docket are cancelled, while Sunday’s schedule has yet to be determined. Check back at GamecocksOnline.com for the latest update.

Two games were completed and another was called after five innings on Friday before Beckham Field became unplayable due to the snow. As of this morning, Columbia Owens Downtown Airport, which is 1.5 miles from Beckham Field, had recorded 5.5 inches of snow, while Columbia Metropolitan Airport had 8.5 inches of snow.
