COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ana Marija Zubori from the South Carolina women’s tennis team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Zubori posted a 3-0 record last week at both No. 1 singles and doubles in helping the Gamecocks to wins against Illinois, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Two of her opponents held national rankings as did the doubles teams she and Dijana Stojic defeated. Versus Ole Miss, Zubori and Stojic upended the nation’s No. 12 team.

Zubori also moved into sole possession of second place on the school’s all-time list for career singles victories with 105. She resides in third place in combined singles and doubles wins with 185 and is fifth in doubles with 80.
