The No. 17/18 South Carolina Gamecocks (8-3, 5-3 SEC) worked out for about an hour Monday night in Williams-Brice Stadium. It was the first time the squad had gotten together since its 69-24 drubbing of Troy last Saturday in the 2010 home finale at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Gamecocks are beginning preparations for the final regular season contest of the year, the annual Palmetto State showdown at Clemson (6-5) on Saturday night. Game time is set for 7:06 p.m. and the contest will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Carter Blackburn, Mike Bellotti and Brock Huard will be describing the action.
