DES MOINES, Iowa – The NCAA Outdoor Championships will resume last night’s suspended events Friday morning with the men’s 4×400-meter relay scheduled to run at 12 p.m. (ET) at Drake Stadium.

The second day of competition was suspended at 9:15 p.m. (ET) due to lightning and heavy rain in the Des Moines area. After a two-hour, seven-minute delay, the meet was suspended for the night at 11:24 p.m. (ET). The updated schedule for the suspended events is:

All times are Eastern

Remainder of Decathlon Javelin-11:30 a.m.
4×400 Meter relays-12 p.m.
Remainder of Men’s Long Jump-4 p.m. (before Heptathlon Long Jump)
Men’s 10,000 Meters-5 p.m.

The remainder of the day’s events will run as scheduled, beginning with the women’s hammer throw at 4 p.m. (ET). CBS College Sports will televise the running events from 7:30-9:30 p.m. (ET). Senior Lakya Brookins will run for the 100-meter dash title at 7:55 p.m.
