COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Regional sports network SportSouth picked up two of South Carolina’s home volleyball matches this fall, the Southeastern Conference announced today.

The two matches come back to back, with Ole Miss providing the opposition on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. ET in the Volleyball Competition Facility. On Sunday, Nov. 6, Alabama comes to Columbia for a match now set for 1 p.m. ET. Those join the ESPNU Wednesday Night Women’s Volleyball broadcast of the Gamecocks against the Florida Gators at 8 p.m. ET on Wed., Oct. 19.

It’s the second-straight season and third in four years where the Gamecocks will be featured three times during the season on the small screen.

Ten matches on regional networks SportSouth, CSS and CST were added to the six previously announced by ESPNU as part of the SEC’s broadcasting deal with the Worldwide Leader in Sports.

South Carolina opens its 2011 schedule on Fri., Aug. 26 in the Temple Invitational in Philadelphia, Pa., against Montana.
