Members of the University of South Carolina Student-Athlete Advisory Committee are joining forces to participate in the fifth annual SEC “Together We Can” Food Drive. This community outreach effort supports food banks and shelters in the Southeast.
Throughout the Southeastern Conference, student-athletes at all 12 member institutions participate in the food and donation drive. The league-wide initiative has now donated over 478,000 pounds of food since 2007.
From now through Sunday, Oct. 2, collections will be taken at the following campus locations:
Bates House
Bates West
Capstone
Carolina Gardens
Cliff Apartments
Columbia Hall
East Quad
West Quad
Honors Dorm
Maxcy
McBryde
McClintock
Patterson
Preston
Roost
Sims Hall
South Quad
South Tower
Wade Hampton
Russell House Student Life Center
Blatt P.E. Center
In addition, donation boxes will be placed at two McDonald’s locations – on Elmwood (1024 Elmwood Ave.) and Gervais (434 Gervais St.).
