The University of South Carolina football team slipped several notches in both national polls following its 16-13 loss to Auburn Saturday night in Columbia.

The Gamecocks (4-1, 2-1 SEC) are ranked 14th in this week’s USA Today/Coaches poll and 18th in the Associated Press poll. The Gamecocks entered the Auburn game ranked ninth by the coaches and 10th by the A.P.

The Gamecocks will try to get back on the winning track Saturday afternoon when they host the Kentucky Wildcats (2-3, 0-2 SEC). Game time is set for 12:21 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
