The South Carolina men’s soccer team (4-4-1, 2-0-0 Conference USA) travels to UAB (5-2-2, 0-0-0 Conference USA) on Tuesday in a match set to start at 8 p.m. ET at West Campus Field in Birmingham. The team is led offensively by sophomore forward Bradlee Baladez with seven points (3 goals, 1 assist), while freshman midfielder Braeden Troyer (3 goals) and senior midfielder Stephen Morrissey (3 goals) both have six points each. South Carolina’s win over Tulsa last Friday marked its third-straight victory over the Golden Hurricane, as Carolina won the regular-season and postseason matches against Tulsa in 2010.

UAB enters Tuesday’s match having lost its last two contests – vs. Portland and at Washington – at last week’s Washington Husky Classic. The Blazers are 4-0-2 in home games this season. The team is led offensively by senior forward Babayele Sodade who ranks among league leaders with six goals and three assists for 15 points on the year. Freshman forward Diego Navarrete has contributed four goals for the team, and junior defender Mladen Lemez has tallied three. Senior goalkeeper Carl Woszczynski has started all nine matches in net for UAB. He enters Tuesday’s match with 41 saves and a 1.07 goals against average on the year.

South Carolina holds a 7-3-1 lead in the all-time series between the two schools, and enters the contest having won two straight over the Blazers. Both of those wins came last season, as Carolina earned a 3-2 win over UAB in the regular season, before collecting a 2-1 win in the C-USA Tournament.
