South Carolina women’s basketball officially opened the season on Monday with its first team practice at the Basketball Practice Facility. With six newcomers to go with eight returning letterwinners, the Gamecocks are blending experience with an influx of youthful talent, looking for a return to postseason play in 2011-12.
