COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina women’s soccer team has returned to the national polls with a No. 22 ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) heading into the final match of the regular season.

South Carolina is 14-5-0 and has clinched at least a share of its first SEC overall and east division championship with an 8-2-0 record in conference play. The Gamecocks travel to No. 18 Florida (14-5-0, 7-3-0 SEC) Friday night for a match that will be televised live on FS Florida at 7 p.m. A win or draw by South Carolina will give the Gamecocks the sole title of SEC champions, and a win by Florida will make the two teams co-champions.
