COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina women’s soccer team will hold an NCAA Selection Show Watch Party Monday at the Buffalo Wild Wings at 4500 Devine Street. Fans and media are invited to be with the team as the brackets for the NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament are announced. The Gamecocks will be at Buffalo Wild Wings from 4:15-5 p.m. The selection show is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be streamed inside the restaurant.

WHO: SEC Regular Season Champion South Carolina women’s soccer team, coaches, administrators, fans, students and media

WHAT: The 2011 NCAA Women’s Soccer Selection Show will take place and the Gamecocks will find out if they are selected to their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament. South Carolina holds a 15-6-0 record and entered the week with an RPI of 26.

WHEN: Monday, November 7, from 4:15 to 5 p.m. The brackets will be announced in a live webcast between 4:30-5 p.m.

WHY: South Carolina (15-6-0) won its first SEC Regular Season title with a 9-2-0 conference record. The Gamecocks have advanced to the NCAA Tournament each of the past four seasons, advancing to the NCAA Round of 16 in 2009 and the Second Round in 2010. Players and coaches from the South Carolina women’s soccer team will gather with fans and administrators for the official NCAA bracket announcement. Players and coaches will be available for interviews during and after the announcement (4:30-5 p.m.).
