COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina’s equestrian team maintained its No. 2 ranking in the latest coaches poll, it was announced today.

The Gamecocks picked up a 10-9 win over No. 3 Auburn on Oct. 4 to improve to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

South Carolina returns to action on Nov. 2 when the Gamecocks travel to Bishop, Ga. to face the top-ranked Bulldogs.

The collegiate coaches competing under the National Collegiate Equestrian Association umbrella initiated the national poll. The next poll will be released on October 31.
