COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina’s meet against Texas A&M, scheduled for Feb. 23 at One Wood Farm in Blythewood, will now begin at 1 p.m. instead of 10 a.m. The Gamecocks will host their annual Equi-Fest event for the Texas A&M meet, with details to be released later.

The Feb. 23 meet will be Texas A&M’s first trip to Blythewood since Jan. 31, 2009, when then-No. 7 South Carolina upset the second-ranked Aggies, 13-7.

South Carolina and Texas A&M last met on Nov. 16 at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan, Texas. The Gamecocks dropped the Aggies, 11-8, led by a 2-for-2 performance from redshirt freshman Samantha Smith. Smith

The Gamecocks are currently 4-2 this season, including a 3-0 mark in Southeastern Conference play.
