COLUMBIA, S.C. — The NCAA Columbia Regional game between South Carolina and Liberty has been suspended until Monday due to severe weather in the Columbia area. The game will resume at 1:05 p.m. at Carolina Stadium. The Gamecocks were leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning on Sunday before inclement weather arrived in the area. All tickets from Sunday’s game will be honored for the conclusion of the game on Monday.
The game is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPNU/ESPN3. Live stats will be available at Gamecocksonline.com. If the Gamecocks win, they will advance to the Super Regionals. If Liberty wins, there will be an if necessary game on Monday at 7 p.m.
