COLUMBIA, S.C. – After securing its fourth NCAA First Round win in the past five seasons with a 5-0 result against Furman at Stone Stadium, No. 14 South Carolina (17-3-2) drew a familiar postseason opponent in No. 17 Stanford (14-5-1). The second round matchup will take place at Drake Stadium on the campus of UCLA. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.

The two sides have only faced once before, but that occurred two years ago in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in Palo Alto, Calif. After winning the SEC regular season championship and topping Texas in their opening match of the tournament, the Gamecocks postseason run ended at Cagan Stadium, 2-0, to an unbeaten Cardinal side, which went on to finish 25-0-1 and capture the program’s first NCAA championship.

As the No. 2 seed, UCLA will host the Second and Third Round games after topping San Diego State, 3-0, on Friday night. UCLA will face Kentucky, a 3-1 winner over Ohio State, following the conclusion of the Gamecocks and Cardinal.
