COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina sand volleyball program has added Macie Tendrich to its 2014 signing class, head coach Moritz Moritz announced Monday.

Tendrich, a native of Boynton Beach, Fla., joins early signees Chloe Cook, Caroline Goerke and Julia Mannisto as a part of the program’s first signing class.

“We are excited about the addition of Macie to the Gamecock sand volleyball program,” Moritz said. “She brings a lot of experience, great training and a solid beach volleyball IQ. She will bring a lot of energy to the team as well as add to raising the level of competitiveness on the court, in the classroom and in the Gamecock community.”
