Aug. 10, 2014
KAMLOOPS, British Columbia – Rising junior Tyler Brockington earned silver today in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2014 North America Central America Caribbean Association (NACAC) U-23 Championships.
The Greensboro, N.C., native finished with a time of 58.29, just under two seconds behind fellow American Kiah Seymour (56.35). Jamaican Rushell Clayton placed third at 1:03.68.
Brockington’s medal was the second in as many days for Gamecock athletes, as former South Carolina sprinter, Chris Royster, was a member of yesterday’s men’s 4×100-meter relay team that captured gold.
