Meghan Blevins • Charleston, S.C.

Meghan came to the University of South Carolina after spending two seasons with Oklahoma State University. After winning more than 20 singles matches her first two years, she made an immediate impact for the Gamecocks with 20 victories while leading the team in dual match wins with 16 last year. She leads the team in singles wins this season and has amassed nearly 90 in her collegiate career. Meghan has won more than 20 doubles matches in each of her two seasons with the Gamecocks as well and has over 80 victories for her career. She has been ranked in the top 100 in singles during her career and is currently ranked No. 37 in the nation in doubles. Meghan has been a member of the AD Honor Roll and the SEC Academic Honor Roll during her tenure with the Gamecocks. She is a sociology major and will graduate in December.

Elixane Lechemia • Lyon, France

Eli joined the University of South Carolina in January 2013 and has spent the past two seasons playing the No. 1 singles position for the Gamecocks. Last season, she became just the fifth player in school history to earn first-team All-SEC honors. As a junior, Eli was ranked as high as No. 26 in the nation in doubles and No. 67 in singles, and she ended last season participating in the NCAA Doubles Championship. This season, she has been ranked as high as No. 50 in singles and No. 43 in doubles. Academically, she was named an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2014 and has been on the SEC Academic Honor Roll, AD Honor Roll, Dean’s List and President’s List at Carolina. Eli is a double major in marketing and management with a minor in sport and entertainment management and will graduate in December.

Alex Martin • Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Alex spent one year with the University of Texas prior to joining the University of South Carolina in fall 2012 as coach Epley’s first signee. She has been an active member with the Gamecocks’ Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes while also participating in numerous community service projects. For her efforts last season, Alex was named to the SEC Women’s Tennis Community Service Team. She has also been instrumental in assisting with the overall operations of the Gamecock women’s tennis team. Alex is an exemplary student in the classroom as well, earning multiple appearances on the Dean’s List, President’s List, the AD Honor Roll, the SEC Academic Honor Roll, and she was named an ITA Scholar Athlete last season. Alex is a broadcast journalism major with a minor in sport and entertainment management and will graduate in December.
