Oct. 8, 2015

Dear Gamecock Family,

As many of you know by now, this Saturday’s football game versus LSU has been moved to Baton Rouge. The game will be at 3:30 PM Eastern Time. The TV broadcast will be on ESPN.

The decision to move the game was made in light of the tragedy that has affected our community and the ongoing recovery effort, and in consultation with state and local officials, law enforcement, the SEC and LSU. Below please find the options for season ticket holders, single game and flex plan purchasers in regards to refunds/credit for tickets purchased for the contest at Williams-Brice Stadium.

If you purchased tickets (season, flex plan, or single game) through the University of South Carolina Athletics Department, your refund options are below. Please click here for the official form to input your refund choice.

  1. I do not wish to receive a refund. Please use my funds to support all Gamecock student-athletes.
  2. A credit of the face value of your LSU ticket(s) to your account that can be applied to other tickets, your Gamecock Club membership, etc.
  3. A check refund for the face value of your ticket(s). Checks will be processed and mailed in the month of December. After receiving your check, please consider donating your refund to the charity of your choice for flood relief.

Please Note: Face value for the LSU game is $70 for season ticket holders, $75 for single game and flex plan purchasers.

Please respond by November 10, 2015. Following the November 10 deadline all unclaimed credits/refunds will be used to support all of our student-athletes.

If you purchased tickets directly from Ticketmaster or their associated outlets, you will receive refund information directly from that source. If you purchased tickets through LSU, please contact LSU directly. If you purchased tickets through any other point of purchase (Stubhub, etc.) please contact the seller directly regarding your ticket purchase.

All new ticket purchases must go through the LSU Ticket Office. LSU has designated seating areas for Gamecock fans and you may purchase here. If you would like to attend the game in Baton Rouge, you will need to purchase a ticket and provide your own transportation. Ticket prices are $75 (lower bowl sideline and upper deck chairback), $60 (lower bowl endzone) and $40 (upper deck bench), and will be available for you to purchase beginning October 8 through the LSU Ticket Office. You can visit www.lsutix.net to purchase tickets online or call toll free at 1-800-960-8587.

The Athletics Department encourages all Gamecocks to donate to their favorite charity to support flood relief efforts in the Midlands and around the state of South Carolina. Many Gamecock student-athletes have assisted others this week serving those in need and the athletics department is working on plans to continue assistance in the future.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please call the Gamecock Ticket Office at 803-777-4274.
