South Carolina posted an 8-over (292) in round two and currently sits in fifth place (+8, 576) for the tournament.
Huskey (T-6, -3), who has finished under par in each of his last five rounds of competition for the Gamecocks, once again turned in a strong finish to his day. After making the turn at 1-over (38), the Greenville, S.C., native tallied four birdies over his next seven holes before registering pars on his last two holes.
Will Starke followed up his opening-round 1-over (72) with an even (71) on Saturday. He opened with back-to-back bogeys, but the South Carolina senior notched birdies on holes No. 6 and 16 before tallying his final birdie on the par-5 first.
