Rohrabacher Named to SEC Women's Tennis Community Service Team

COLUMBIA, S.C. ââ’¬” Sophomore Rachel Rohrabacher of the No. 12 South Carolina women’s tennis team has been named to the SEC Women’s Tennis Community Service Team, the league office announced on Tuesday. The conference sponsors community service teams in all 21 sports to highlight student-athletes who give back to their community. A native of Tampa, Fla., Rohrabacher led the team in community service hours with contributions to several organizations. She volunteered at the Ray Tanner Home Run 5k, supporting and guiding race participants throughout the race course. Furthermore, she participated as part of a panel discussion to educate students at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. Rohrabacher also spent time at Springdale Elementary School reading to children and helping them learn to read. South Carolina women’s tennis closes out their regular season with two road matches. The Gamecocks face Vanderbilt on Friday at 3 p.m. CT and Kentucky at 1 p.m. CT.
